Team Procedures
- Day, time, and place for regular team meetings:
- UH142, Friday 11.15-12.05pm, weekly.
- Duffield, Monday 1.15-2.15pm, weekly as needed.
- Preferred method of communication (e.g., e-mail, cell phone, wired phone, Blackboard Discussion Board, face-to-face, in a certain class) in order to inform each other of team meetings, announcement, updates, reminders, problems:
- Facebook Messenger for general messaging
- Github for code
- Google Drive for other media
- Decision-making policy (by consensus? by majority vote?):
- consensus - if not reached within 4 votes, majority vote
- Method for setting and following meeting agendas (Who will set each agenda? When? How will team members be notified/reminded? Who will be responsible for the team following the agenda during a team meeting? What will be done to keep the team on track during a meeting?):
- Group leader will set up agenda on Google Drive before meeting begins
- Members will be reminded via messenger and team Google 3400 Calendar
- Will try to keep meeting on track with deadlines and smaller milestones
- Method of record keeping (Who will be responsible for recording & disseminating minutes? How & when will the minutes be disseminated? Where will all agendas & minutes be kept?):
- Github will be primary place for keeping minutes
Team Expectations
Work Quality:
- Project standards (What is a realistic level of quality for team presentations, collaborative writing, individual research, preparation of drafts, peer reviews, etc.?):
- Agree on level of completion prior to assigning the task according to schedules, etc.
- Strategies to fulfill these standards:
- cross evaluation

Team Participation:
- Strategies to ensure cooperation and equal distribution of tasks:
- “task draft” - choose tasks, each week someone different gets first pick
- work on things together

Personal Accountability:
- Expected individual attendance, punctuality, and participation at all team meetings:
- communicate if you’re absent/late
- choose times that work for everyone
- late jar - $1 for every time you’re late (20 min)
- unexcused absences - $5
- Expected level of responsibility for fulfilling team assignments, timelines, and deadlines:
- say what you can do, try not to overestimate
- if you are falling behind, communicate
- Expected level of communication with other team members:
- updates about progress over messenger
- check ins every week on progress
- Expected level of commitment to team decisions and tasks:

Team Leadership
Every person on the team will have to take the role as a leader for at least two weeks. The role of the leader will be to organize meetings and make sure that everything is submitted in a timely manner. Please note here who will be responsible when:
Week 1-4 (Start-up, Lab 1, Milestone 1): Marcela
Week 5-8 (Lab 2, Lab 3, Milestone 2): Natan
Week 9-12 (Lab 4, Milestone 3): Zoe
Week 13-16 (Milestone 4, competition, final report): Michael
